Hi Everyone,

I’ve started this blog as a place to share photos and videos that weren’t specifically work projects. Thanks for reading!

My first post is a selection of winter landscape photography from the north west of Scotland. Winter is a great time for landscape photography – the light is more interesting, the weather more dramatic, and being in the hills feels like an adventure.

These pictures were all taken between the Cairngorms in the east and Ullapool in the west: the most remote and picturesque areas of the country. Torridon and Wester Ross are probably the best locations for big hills and rugged scenery, however on this trip the weather was not on our side so I haven’t uploaded any images from there.

I would recommend exploring the North 500 route if you haven’t visited the north coast of Scotland before, it goes through many of my favourite places with a short detour to Skye.
